The Trust has a beachside house, Venkat Villa, and Venkat House, a small complex of two luxury suites to let in Kovalam which raise funds for our work.

Kovalam is still an unspoiled and friendly fishing village. It’s a delightful place to stay as an alternative to the noise and crowds of Chennai and there’s lots to do. JR is always delighted to show our supporters round the village and the schools.
The Crocodile Bank is close by, as is DakshinaChitra Heritage Museum, dedicated to the cultural heritage of South India. Mamallapuram, famous for its Pallava Shore Temple and shopping, is a 20-minute drive away and a day’s excursion down the coast will take in Puducherry which still retains its French colonial past. Chennai’s International Airport, just an hour’s drive away with direct routes to many overseas destinations, makes Kovalam an ideal away-from-the-city arrival or departure destination.
Venkat Villa: the beachside house
A palm tree reaching for the sky through the open roof of the sitting room is just one of the WOW features of this delightful holiday home for a family of four or two couples. The beachside house has a swimming pool, garden, terrace overlooking the sea, two double bedrooms with bathrooms, a spacious area for relaxing and dining and a well-equipped kitchen. There is on-site parking for two cars.

Venkat House: the Jasmin and Frangipani suites
Tucked away in the tranquillity of the garden but close to both the hustle and bustle of the village and the beach is Venkat House. A small complex of just two suites, Jasmin and Frangipani, each occupying an entire floor with private outdoor area, spaciousness and comfort are the bywords for this accommodation. Beautifully furnished, each has a large bedroom and bathroom for two guests with a queen size bed, sofa and easy chairs, desk, A/C, TV, Wifi, mini fridge, tea making facilities and toiletries.
